Figury Neandertalczyków wśród jurajskich skał

Ojców Tourist region: Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska

It is a fragment of the former system of chambers and corridors with a total length of 230 m. Its entrance chamber is the largest known cave room in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland.
It has a poor stalactite garment, because it was destroyed in the 19th century. It is included in the most valuable archaeological sites in Poland – you can find here, among others, flint inventories from around 120,000 years. Bone remains of a cave bear and wolverine were also excavated from there.
