The Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle is also home to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lourdes, hence moniker it was given – the Polish Lourdes. Many pilgrims come here to pray at the grotto, which is a copy of the renowned location in Lourdes, France – the site of the world-famous apparitions of Mary.

Erected in 1910–1918 according to the design by Jan Sas-Zubrzycki, the Neo-Gothic church was built on the plan of a Latin cross with a chancel enclosed from three sides. Its façade comprises a clock tower topped with a spire and two annexes with triangular cupolas. Created in 1914–1920 the altar features a Baroque painting of Our Lady of Consolation wearing a dress made of wood, which in the 18th century had been famous for its graces. The construction of the grotto was initiated by parish priest Jan Pałka, who brought a plaster model of the grotto and a bottle of water from the miraculous spring from his pilgrimage to Lourdes in 1900. An arcade with a decorative lattice opens the grotto in Porąbka, which was built in 1904. In the grotto, one can see a stone altar and votive offerings, a statue of Immaculate Blessed Virgin Mary and the altar of Saint Bernadette with lambs, to whom Our Lady appeared in a grotto in Lourdes. Visitors and pilgrims can also draw water from Lourdes from a well. The Grotto also houses a stone from the French counterpart and a statue of Saint Maksymilian Kolbe. During the celebration of the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lourdes on 11 February, an official procession to the grotto with lanterns takes place. Indulgences are held on the first Sunday in October – the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary – and on the feast of Saint Andrew the Apostle on 30 November.
